• You can now organize email templates into folders.
  • Create, rename, delete, and reorder folders and templates from the email templates manager, including dragging templates into and out of folders.
  • Your chosen folder structure and ordering are reflected when selecting a template while composing emails or building sequences.
  • Deleting a folder does not delete its templates; they are moved back to the top level.
• We’ve launched ChartMogul AI, an intelligent data analyst built directly into ChartMogul.
  • Ask questions about your revenue, subscribers, churn, retention, customers, benchmarks, product usage, and CRM data using natural language.
  • ChartMogul AI can carry out multi-step investigations, such as explaining an MRR decline, identifying common churn reasons, or preparing an investor update.
  • It can also analyze context from emails, notes, and call logs to help explain not just what changed, but why.
  • Because it understands the report, segment, or customer profile you’re viewing, you can launch contextual investigations directly from within ChartMogul.
  • ChartMogul AI is currently read-only.
• We’ve made ChartMogul CRM part of the core platform. Paid CRM seats have been removed, and every ChartMogul user can now connect their mailbox and use all CRM features.

• We’ve introduced ChartMogul.js, a client-side SDK that makes it easier to send customer and contact data from your SaaS application to ChartMogul.

  • Add a JavaScript snippet to identify logged-in users and sync details such as name, email, company, custom attributes, location, and last-seen activity.
  • This provides a simpler alternative to building a custom API integration and creates a foundation for future in-app engagement features.

• We’ve added a new Free Subscribers chart.

  • It tracks customers with at least one active free subscription and no active or past-due paid subscription.
  • The chart includes new, reactivated, and cancelled free subscribers, along with net and total subscriber changes.

• We’ve introduced Data Lab, a new home for exploratory analytics in ChartMogul.

  • Existing features including Scenarios, Benchmarks, Maps, and Cohorts have moved to Data Lab.
  • We’ve also added Key Metrics by Region, a new report that lets you compare key subscription metrics across countries and regions, with support for expanding the United States into individual states and including custom regions.

• Automations can now trigger based on both the previous and new value of a customer property.

  • This gives you more precise control over when automations run, such as only triggering when a property changes from one specific value to another.
  • Automations that only depend on the new value can continue to work as before.

• The ChartMogul MCP Server is now verified and listed in both the Claude Connectors Directory and the ChatGPT App Directory.

• Exclude Customer now uses the same process as Delete Customer.

  • Excluding a customer now completely removes them from your ChartMogul account and adds their details to the Excluded Customers list, preventing them from being re-imported.
  • Previously, excluded customers were only removed from revenue metrics and could still appear elsewhere in ChartMogul. You can now view and manage excluded customers under Settings & Data → Manage → Excluded Customers.

• You can now manage saved segments from a dedicated Segments page.

  • Search, rename, reorder, and delete saved segments from a single place.
  • See when each segment was last updated, who updated it, and whether it's referenced by reports or customer lists before making changes.
  • Support for organizing segments into folders is coming soon.

June 2026 🌈

• A new MRR (Current, or at time of cancellation) column is now available in customer list views.
  • Unlike the existing MRR column, which shows $0 for cancelled customers, this column displays the customer's MRR at the time of cancellation, making churn analysis easier.
• The Bulk API now supports additional object types, including Contacts, Opportunities, and Custom Attributes.
  • This makes it easier to import and manage CRM data at scale. The developer documentation has also been updated.
• Added a new differential_always proration type to the API.
  • Like differential, it accounts for prorated subscription changes, but also accumulates MRR and subscription quantity across plan changes.
• You can now switch between MRR and ARR on supported charts and dashboard reports.
  • The MRR Breakdown dashboard tile has been renamed MRR/ARR Breakdown and can now be configured to display either monthly or annualized recurring revenue.
  • Supported charts also include an MRR/ARR toggle, with your selection retained when saving charts and while navigating between reports.
• We’ve upgraded Universal Search (⌘K) to make it easier to find records across your account.
  • Search now works across more object types, including customers, contacts, reports, lists, notes, and call logs.
  • Search results appear as you type and are grouped by object type.
  • Email threads are not yet indexed, but support will be added soon.
• The ChartMogul MCP Server is now live, giving AI tools secure access to your ChartMogul subscription analytics and customer data.

  • Use it to analyze MRR, ARR, churn, retention, cohorts, subscriptions, revenue trends, customer activity, and more using natural language.

  • We’ve submitted the server to Anthropic and OpenAI for inclusion in their MCP directories. While approval is pending, you can set it up manually, it only takes a few steps.
