The ChartMogul MCP (Model Context Protocol) server lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT securely access your ChartMogul data so you can ask questions about your subscription analytics in natural language.

This guide walks an organization or workspace administrator through adding the ChartMogul connector in Claude and in ChatGPT.

Connection details

Use the same values in both products:

Field Value
Name ChartMogul
Description ChartMogul MCP
Server URL https://mcp.chartmogul.com/
Authentication OAuth

Important — this is an organization-level setup. Adding the connector as described below only makes it available to your organization (Claude) or workspace (ChatGPT). It does not connect anyone automatically. Each user still has to connect and authorize the connector individually — signing in through OAuth with their own ChartMogul access — before they can use it.

Adding ChartMogul in Claude

You’ll need: owner or admin access to your Claude organization.

  1. Open Settings and go to Organization settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, under Libraries, select Connectors.
  3. In the top-right corner, click the Add dropdown and choose Custom.
  4. In the Add custom connector dialog, enter:
  5. Click Add. You’ll see a “Custom connector added” confirmation, and ChartMogul will now appear in your organization’s connector list.

That’s it for the organization-level setup. Each member who wants to use it still needs to connect and authorize ChartMogul individually (they’ll be prompted to sign in via OAuth the first time they use it).

Adding ChartMogul in ChatGPT

You’ll need: owner or admin access to your ChatGPT workspace.

Prerequisite — Developer Mode. Custom connectors can only be added once Developer Mode is enabled. If it isn’t already on, ChatGPT will prompt you to enable it when you try to add the connector, so you can turn it on as part of this flow.

  1. Open the ChatGPT admin panel and go to Apps.
